Okay, I have to say it: the people of Georgia’s 14th District are obviously the dumbest people in America. Anyone...Read more

Black America is braced for another “white tears” verdict for Kyle Rittenhouse. Many watched as he “remembered” he was supposed to cry as he gave his testimony during the trial. Almost, as if he had forgotten his cue, Rittenhouse, 18, broke down, telling the jury how he was “cornered” outside one of the car businesses he was guarding against demonstrators. This occurred before fatally shooting his first victim, Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, on Aug. 25, 2020.
Will the system fail Black America again? Is there one code of conduct for one set of people, while others have no apparent accountability? One has to contemplate the compass of a justice system that will send a man to jail for dogfighting, where dogs were killed, but will let a man who shoots, and even kills, another human go free. This is America. A country where a young man can cross state lines with a loaded gun to go where he should not be, killing two people in the process, and being hailed a hero. Contrariwise, a man who kneels at a sporting event becomes a villain.
Rittenhouse is charged with six counts of deliberate homicide in the deaths of Rosenbaum and another man, Anthony Huber, 26, as well as wounding Gaige Grosskreutz, 27. A defiant Rittenhouse argued during cross-examination that he had no intention of killing any of the three victims; it was all self-defense. When speaking with TMZ, Comedian and activist D. L. Hughley said:
I gotta find out what is in these white tears. We need to find out the ingredients for white tears because they work so well. Really, every time a white person cries, somebody is found not guilty.
That’s the worst acting I’ve seen since Stacy Dash. Let’s be clear, the Right believes Covid was a hoax, Sandy Hook never happened, and the January 6th insurrection was tourists. They believed all these things were false, but they believe THAT performance is real.
It really says a lot about the low standards we have. We live in a nation right now where a man who knelt is vilified and the man who killed is glorified, it is insane.
When white men and women see him, he looks like their son, nephew, or next-door neighbor. I think that a white dude crying with a haircut is very sympathetic to any number of people. I think he is clearly a martyr for the Right. Even when he first got arrested, the first thing the Chief of Police says is, ‘Well you know if these people would have been home, this wouldn’t have happened.’ Now if that doesn’t give a jaundice view of this; we have clearly a group of people who believe that whatever you do for your cause is right.
And I think that a lot of them sit on the bench, and a lot of them sit on juries; they don’t exist in a vacuum. They exist. And they constantly do things that let you know that they’re going to do whatever they can to tip the skills of justice. I think that our system is flawed, I think that you should never see a defendant.
All you need to know is what they did because we’re prejudiced, biased, and defense attorneys know to play on those things. If the crime is a crime, why do I need to see the person that they did it to know to whether there’s guilt or innocence? The fact is this jury system was set up to get certain results and was always prejudiced against people of color.
The presumption of innocence is never how we’ve been treated. Ultimately, it is this, I think that there are not enough principle, powerful white dudes in positions to hang our judicial system on it, they’re just not, they’re not enough people who say, ‘This is wrong, I’m gonna do the right thing regardless.’ They’re not enough of them.
You can tell by what’s happening with the insurrection stance, you can tell by what happens in government. There are not enough principle white dudes who are who can say, “Regardless of how this works out for me personally and my ideology, I’m going to do the right thing.’ Our system was always based on principal white guys doing the right thing. And you see more and more that is as absent as the idea of justice in America, it’s crazy to me!
Many will remember the Michael Vick case, where he was sentenced to prison in 2007 for running a dogfighting operation; where dogs were injured, and some killed. Then Plaxico Burress was sentenced to two years in prison for violating New York’s stringent gun laws, and was immediately taken into custody following his hearing. One would think that having to live with the pain of shooting himself would have caused him to suffer enough. Perhaps, he was sentenced to jail because he shot an African American male. Remember, he shot himself.
A few decades ago, the verdict in the People of the State of California vs. Orenthal James ‘O.J.” Simpson stunned the world. Simpson was tried on two counts of murder following the deaths of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Lyle Goldman. The case had been described, prior to George Zimmerman, as the most publicized criminal trial in American history, with Simpson being acquitted after a lengthy trial that lasted over eight months. Truth is, he was as guilty as Zimmerman and Rittenhouse.
These cases ignited a national debate over self-defense laws and race in America, prompting marches and demonstrations around the country. Black America braces for a verdict that will again vindicate the white man. Many other Americans brace for another round of protests across state lines.
Black America braces for another “white tears” verdict. It appears the judge in the Rittenhouse case is biased and sympathetic to the defense. Rittenhouse has pleaded not guilty to six charges from the fateful night, and the judge has dismissed one important one. The killer could spend the rest of his life in prison if found guilty of the most heinous crime against him. Black America expects his tears to exonerate him.
